Truck crashes at the M41 Highway involving 46 vehicles

According to paramedics, at least 35 people were wounded after a truck crashed into Monday morning traffic on the M41 in Umhlanga, Durban, causing an accident involving 46 vehicles.

Fortunately,  there were no fatalities reported in the chaotic scene, according to paramedics.

Several ambulance services, including Netcare 911, Emer-G-Med paramedics, KZN VIP Medical, and rescue personnel from Durban Metropolitan Search and Rescue (SAR) and eThekwini Fire and Rescue, responded to the incident.



According to News24, "Reports allege that a truck driver lost control while travelling down the road, when he ploughed into morning traffic."

The truck was carrying an unknown material, and the location is considered dangerous.

The area's traffic has been seriously impacted as the street has been blocked to allow emergency personnel to clean the incident.
