Residents are urged to boil tap water for one minute and allow it to cool before drinking or washing fruits and vegetables that are going to be eaten raw. According to Cape Talk, this notice was issued after routine water monitoring results revealed that the water quality does not meet national water quality guidelines. Inquiries are being conducted to guarantee that the water quality returns to acceptable drinking levels for people who have been impacted by this inconvenience.
