Erica Herman, the golf legend's ex-girlfriend, retaliated by launching a lawsuit against a homestead trust he controls in Hobe Sound, Florida. She is now suing for more than $30 million in damages, saying that the trust and its agents stole $40,000 from her and made "scurrilous and defamatory charges about how she received the money." She also sued Wood in a second case this week, asking the court to free her from her non-disclosure agreement with Woods from 2017. She claimed it was unenforceable under the federal Speak Out Act, which precludes court enforcement of such agreements in sexual assault or harassment cases.

According to TMZ, the petition, Herman claims that Tiger's private trust is attempting to bully her into staying silent about their connection by aggressively enforcing the NDA she signed.

In her court documents, she contends that the NDA should be ruled invalid under the federal Speak Out Act, which bans the enforcement of an NDA signed to prior to a matter concerning sexual assault or sexual harassment.

Tiger's trust denied any oral contract existed in response to the case.

According to the golfer's crew, Erica was only residing at the residence as his girlfriend and was asked to leave once the sportsman's relationship with ex-wife Elin Nordegren ended.
