President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to announce his cabinet change soon. The Leader of Build One South Africa (Bosa), Mmusi Maimane has suggested that the president should remove some of the unproductive ministers and replace them with competent MPs

According to Times Live, Maimane suggested that the following ministers should be replaced are:

  • Minister of police Bheki Cele;
  • Minister of co-operative governance Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma
  • Minister of basic education Angie Motshekga
  • Minister of higher education & training Blade Nzimande
  • Minister of public enterprises Pravin Gordhan
  • Minister of energy & mineral resources Gwede Mantashe
  • Minister of tourism Lindiwe Sisulu
  • Minister of employment & labour Thulas Nxesi
  • Minister of small business development Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams
  • Minister of international relations & co-operation Naledi Pandor.

Maimane added that these ministers are not performing according to what is expected from them.

Maimane believes that this will resolve some of South Africa's national governing problems. This will benefit the country's citizens, especially because the country has been greylisted.
