Hailing from Randfontein, South Africa, Jae Nuune's musical journey began in 2010. From a young age, she was immersed in a diverse range of genres and artists, which fueled her passion for self-expression through music. Initially, she lent her talents as a backing vocalist to various artists in her community. However, driven by her creative ambitions and acquired experiences, Jae Nuune decided to take the spotlight and fully embrace her talents as a singer, songwriter, and performer.
In 2014, Jae Nuune joined forces with producer Blister Jay Pop from Qwa-Qwa to release her debut independent EP, "Twelve Nuune," which gained recognition on digital platforms like SoundCloud. Building on this success, she collaborated with several independent producers and artists across South Africa, utilizing stages as platforms to showcase her artistry. In 2020, she teamed up with sound producer Joint Pusher for her second EP, "EVOLV," which was released on major digital stores and streaming platforms in 2021. The EP garnered widespread acclaim, leading to a music video shoot for the single "SOMETIMES" that received airplay on Channel O. Jae Nuune's remarkable talent has also granted her opportunities to perform at renowned events such as A Re Iketleng with Akum Agency, Annual Reggae Festival: Catch A Fire with Lioness Productions, Women's Day Celebration with Women In Music, YAMS with Bridget Pike, and Off The Hook with Lwazi the MC.
