Family Feud Alert: Tsonga Disco Star Peta Teanet's Kids Take on Uncle Over Father's Legacy!

In a shocking revelation, the scintillating amapiano track "Ka Valungu" has become the stage for a family drama surrounding the legacy of Tsonga disco sensation, Peta Teanet. As the nation grooves to the rhythm of the chart-topping song on Spotify, Teanet's children have stepped forward to expose their uncle and family spokesperson, Forsta Teanet, for allegedly benefiting from their father's estate.

With a total of 15 offspring from eight different wives, Teanet's children claim that their uncle Forsta has been engaging in behind-the-scenes deals concerning their late father's music for a staggering 27 years. They assert that since Peta Teanet passed away, Forsta has been enjoying the fruits of their inheritance while leaving them to face a challenging upbringing, divided between Johannesburg and Limpopo.

According to the aggrieved children, Forsta has been tight-fisted with their rightful share of their father's estate, even while he continues to reap royalties from the iconic musician's melodic creations. They accuse their uncle of maintaining minimal contact with them since their father's demise in 1996, raising suspicions about his role as the primary beneficiary of Peta Teanet's legacy.

In an exclusive interview with Sunday World, Zaineb Teanet, one of Peta's sons and the elected spokesperson for the children, expressed profound disbelief upon learning that their uncle was acting on their behalf during negotiations for the "Ka Valungu" remake, orchestrated by the talented Tebza De DJ.

"I cannot recall having any communication with Forsta since my early childhood. I am uncertain about his level of engagement with any of us since our father's passing. Our lives have been fraught with hardships," revealed Zaineb.

The indignant children maintain that it is time for Forsta to relinquish control over their father's affairs, citing his alleged disregard and lack of communication with them. They claim that not a single child of Peta Teanet has reaped the benefits of his esteemed estate, including prestigious awards, properties, and the lucrative music royalties that continue to pour in.

Refuting the accusations, Forsta, who also boasts a musical career, suggested that the children should approach him privately to address their grievances. He vehemently denied any wrongdoing, asserting the legality of his actions and declaring possession of all pertinent documentation. He invited the children to challenge his power of attorney in a court of law, should they deem it necessary.

However, the determined children have decided against a private approach, opting instead to pursue legal action against Forsta, Tebza De DJ, and other involved parties, including record labels. Their objective is to reclaim what rightfully belongs to them and to safeguard the precious legacy of their late father, Peta Teanet – a once-mighty musical icon with numerous acclaimed albums, who resided in a splendid Tzaneen mansion with his wives and children.
