Although multiple football experts criticised his move to Saudi Arabian football. Undoubtedly, CR7 has been a force to be reckoned with in front of the goal for any team he has played for. Hence, the numbers prove that Ronaldo is the greatest goalscorer ever. Cristiano Ronaldo did not mince his words when asked about the same, and his answer turned out to be true. The 38-year-old superstar has been in excellent goalscoring form for Al-Nassr this season, too. He has scored six goals in the Saudi Pro League in four games. His overall season tally for goals stands at 12 from 10 games across competitions.
While Cristiano Ronaldo has always been a lethal goalscorer, like every player, he has endured dry spells, too. Some might get too anxious when not finding the back of the net regularly. That is not the case with Ronaldo, though. His Portugal teammate Diogo Jota went through a rough patch himself for Liverpool during the 2022-23 season. He recalled how Ronaldo compared goals to ketch-ups. Ronaldo said that goals are like ketch-ups, and when the first drop comes out, everything becomes more manageable.
Given Ronaldo is the most prolific scorer in football history and has been successful for multiple teams, his words are valuable advice for new players.
Moreover, CR7 has been nominated for the West Asia region's Player of the Month award for August. The Al-Nassr superstar had a stellar campaign the previous month, scoring five goals and providing two assists in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo was also adjudged the SPL's Player of the Month for August. He is now nominated for a region's Best Player of the Month award. The superstar forward scored a hat-trick against Al-Fateh and a brace against Al-Shabab last month. Apart from that, Ronaldo also assisted in both games.
Cristiano Ronaldo continued his rich vein of form in September as he scored one and provided two assists in his side's SPL showdown against Al-Hazm on Saturday. Riding on the Portuguese's dazzling displays, Al-Nassr has won three games in a row. They have returned to winning ways after losing their opening two SPL games, the first of which Ronaldo didn't play due to an injury.
Evidently, Ronaldo has been prolific in Saudi football; even the lie detector could not miss that fact.
