A viral video of Nigerian fans celebrating their football team's victory over South Africa in the Africa Cup of Nations has gone viral on social media. The clip shows fans taunting each other while singing the hit "Water" by South African singer Tyla, who won Best African Music Performance at the Grammys. Nigerians, disappointed with their defeat, are now vowing revenge at the Afcon semi-final. The hashtag #NGARSA is trending in both African giants, as they poke fun at each other. The main focus has been on music, with Nigerians maintaining Afrobeats' uniqueness and encouraging South Africans to dance to amapiano, a blend of hip-hop, soul, and slowed-down house music. Popular Nigerian pastor Jimmy Odukoya has also praised Bafana Bafana for their performance despite their defeat, but warned the South African players to "need water." Nigeria will face hosts Ivory Coast in the final on Sunday.
