Tiger Woods refutes ex-girlfriend

Tiger Woods' attorneys are responding to new charges brought by Tiger Woods' ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman. Herman complained to Woods in the Circuit Court of the 19th Judicial Circuit in Martin County, Florida, alleging the Speak Out Act as the reason the NDA should be nullified. 

Herman argues in recent court records filed by Christopher J. Hubman, an attorney representing Woods, that she is "not a victim of sexual assault or abuse" and broke an "oral tenancy agreement" for her.

According to Woods's attorney: 

"Herman has never asserted any claims for sexual assault or sexual harassment, does not do so in this landlord-tenant filing, and if she is truthful, can never do so," the documents argue. "Ms. Herman’s bare reference to the statute, without any allegations to support its application to the facts of this case, is insufficient to relieve Ms. Herman from her contractual obligation to arbitrate."

Both of Herman's cases against Wood's Jupiter Island Irrevocable Homestead Trust were brought by ET. Mr. Woods' lawyers said that during their connection, Mr. Woods asked Ms. Herman to live in the Residence as his guest but never established an oral lease arrangement with her. 

They allege that Woods ended their romance and organized Herman to remain at a local luxury resort and that Woods gave her money to put toward a new home. They further allege that Herman's effort to have the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) revoked is "utterly meritless" and that any legal disagreements should be resolved outside of court.
