Johannesburg - The nation grieves as one person tragically lost their life during the EFF's tenth-anniversary rally at the FNB Stadium in Soweto. Today, EFF Deputy President Floyd Shivambu and Head of Political Education Mbuyiseni Ndlozi attended the funeral of the deceased, Mavothane Moses Mazamolela, hailing from Sebokeng in Gauteng.

The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the FNB Stadium, where the victim allegedly fell from level five to level two while dancing. The police have opened an inquest docket and continue their investigation, obtaining statements from witnesses to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
